Emma has been the Managing Director of Freedom Social Skills since it began in 2019. Since then she has helped expand the business from two social skills classes at a sporting facility to over 11 social skills classes, with the addition of a brand new clinic space. Emma is a Psychology Graduate from the University of Wollongong and is currently studying a Masters in Education (Applied Behaviour Analysis) at Monash University. Emma has over 8 years experience providing Behavioural Intervention to children on the Autism Spectrum and those with various other special learning needs progressing from a junior support worker role to a Program Supervisor. Emma has worked with both children and teenagers, from a variety of backgrounds.
Emma's mission at Freedom Social Skills is to ensure that children with special needs are nurtured in a supportive and inclusive community and given equal opportunities to thrive.
Program Supervisor and Board Certified assistant Behaviour Analyst
Kathy has worked with a wide variety of clientele in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis for the past 9 years. Her experience includes early intervention, pre-school to high-school programs, and community access, across various Sydney-based providers. She is currently working towards becoming a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
Kathy is passionate about using behaviour science to change families' lives for the better. When she isn't working or studying, she enjoys boxing and volunteering for local causes.
Class Leader and Behaviour Therapist
Krissy has worked with children of all ages for 6 years, both within Australia and internationally and for the past 12 months as a Behavioural Therapist for Freedom Social Skills.
Krissy's enthusiasm, motivation, skill set and ability to build easy rapport with our children and families has led to her taking on the responsibility of running most of our weekly social skills classes.
Krissy will be undertaking an education degree at the commencement of 2021 with a desire for continued training in the ABA field. I love working at Freedom Social Skills because no two days are the same, I love to see the continued growth in each student and the staff are very welcoming and fun.

April has attained a Bachelor of Psychological Studies (Psychology Extension) and is now pursuing a Masters of Education (Applied Behaviour Analysis) in 2021. April has been working in the field for over a year now, with previous experience as an inclusion support worker and has obtained a passion for working with children who have ASD.
I find working with ASD children very rewarding and everyday I come home with a smile on my face. One fact about my personality is that I am very bubbly and can talk for hours!

Sabrina has completed a Bachelor of Psychology and Is currently undergoing her honours degree. Sabrina has worked in various Disability Support/Behavioural Assistant roles over the past 2 years.
I absolutely love working at Freedom Social Skills because I get to meet and bond with so many unique people. In my spare time, I like to read, watch horror movies and go to the beach with friends.

Taryn has finished a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. Next year Taryn will be completing a certificate in Australian Sign Language and plans to do a masters in Speech Therapy in 2022. Taryn has worked in before and after school care where she learned that she enjoyed providing opportunities to engage with children and better understand them.
I love this job as I am given the opportunity to get to know and help so many amazing children. A fact about me is that I spend all my free time watching old movies.

Dianne has been working in children’s services for over 25 years, predominantly as an early childhood educator, writing and implementing programs for children of 0-5yrs. Dianne has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a passion for helping children with ASD achieve their full potential!
I love Freedom Social Skills as it links directly to my passion and motivates me to further develop my experience in child education.

Vanessa is a psychology honours student. Vanessa has volunteered with individuals with mental illnesses and disabilities over the past few years, and really enjoys helping others reach their full potential.

Melissa is currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education and for the last three years she has been working as a swimming teacher. She has also been working at Freedom Social Skills for the last 6 months.

Daniella has achieved a Cert III in Fitness Training and Also a Bechelors in International Studiies with a Major in Sustainable Development. Daniella is currently studying a Masters in Counselling.
