At Freedom Social Skills we can provide Support Workers who can visit you in your home to provide individualised support, to ensure your child has the best chance of meeting their developmental goals. We strive to match Support Workers with Families, based on Interests, support requirements and locations.
These are some of the things your support worker can assist you and your individual with:
Getting Started and Intake Process
We understand that Support Work is a highly individualised service. As such during our initial intake a qualified Senior Support Worker or Consultant will sit down with you and begin to understand your families needs and requirement. After this you will receive your child's Support Profile and Support Plan, with 5 - 10 realistic goals for your child to work towards.
After your child's Support Plan is created we will work to find you a suitable Support Worker who is available to visit you in your home, or in the community. We will find you a match based on Interests, Support Needs and Location.
Support Worker Requirements
Our Support Workers are chosen for their skill-set, reliability, enthusiasm and passion for helping children achieve their goals. All of our Support Workers have a verified WWCC, police check, relevant experience and professional development in working with individuals with disability. Freedom Social Skills prides itself on providing ongoing education opportunities for our Support Workers to ensure we are delivering the best service possible.
